Beta terms
Plain terms for the Cue beta
Beta software
Cue is beta software. It may have bugs, change during the beta, or be unavailable while we improve the product.
Not medical advice
Cue is a desk posture reminder. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, prevention, physical therapy, or ergonomic assessment.
Posture accuracy
Camera-based posture scoring depends on lighting, webcam position, seating, clothing, hardware, and baseline setup. Use Cue as a gentle reminder, not as a precise measurement tool.
Privacy and account data
Cue processes camera frames on your computer and does not upload camera frames or video. Account services may receive your email, device/license details, app version, platform, local date, timezone, and daily aggregate tracked seconds for activation, access, and quota.
Beta access
The beta is free through July 31, 2026. Beta access may include daily tracking limits while the product is in testing. Invited testers may receive extended tracking access while their beta access is active. Beta access may change or end as the product evolves.
Cue may send product emails, posture tips, and beta updates. Product emails include an unsubscribe link. Essential account, activation, and security messages may continue.
Installer signing & security
The Windows beta installer is code-signed by William Brako; Windows may still show a SmartScreen warning while reputation builds. macOS and Linux builds are coming soon. Download Cue only from cueposture.com.
Misuse and availability
Access may be suspended for abuse, tampering, attempts to bypass quota or account controls, or activity that harms the service or other users.
No warranty
Cue is provided as available during beta, without guarantees. Liability is limited to the extent allowed by law.
